The Awesome Dads site was created as a tool for all dads. Here, dads can get ideas on how to strengthen their relationship with their children.

I created this site to acknowledge wonderful fathers who are truly active in their little ones’ lives. Media usually reports on deadbeat or abusive fathers. Not enough focus is ever given to dads who take parenthood seriously and who are there for their kids. I also intend for this site to be a resource for us to find new ideas and activities to share with our little ones.

We will begin recognizing awesome dads with Dad of the Month and Dad of the Year Awards (details for signing up or nominating your favorite Awesome Dad will be posted on this site soon). The Dad of the Month will be awarded a gift certificate for a local restaurant, movie, theme park or other fun place. Dad of the Year will be awarded a four-day trip for four to a Disney Theme Park and enjoy well-deserved time spent with his family.

We will begin a cooking show to show fathers how to prepare quick and healthy meals with our little ones to keep it healthy and fun.
